1. General Scope and Authority
These rules apply to all aspects of the game, including but not limited to:
- All servers.
- In-game communications and actions.
- Connected services (messaging and support systems).
The game operator reserves the right to:
- Modify these rules at any time.
- Enforce additional temporary rules for special servers or events.
- Take action in cases not explicitly covered by this document.
Rule changes will be announced through official channels.
The support and moderation team is the final authority in all rule interpretations and enforcement decisions.
2. Player Conduct and Community Standards
Players are expected to treat others with basic respect, even in hostile or competitive contexts.
The following are strictly prohibited in all game related communication:
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation outside normal gameplay context.
- Hate speech, racism, sexism, or discriminatory language.
- Obscene, sexually explicit, or illegal content.
- Real world threats, blackmail, or coercion.
- Impersonation of players, moderators and administrators.
Strategic deception, misinformation, diplomacy, betrayal, and intimidation within game mechanics are allowed.
Personal abuse outside mechanics is not.
All communication maybe logged, reviewed, and used as evidence in rule enforcement.
3. Staff Authority and Support Interaction
- All instructions are issued by the support or moderation team must be followed.
- Support decisions are final once issued.
- Abuse of the support system may result in loss of access.
Moderators and Administrators will never request:
- Account passwords.
- Login credentials.
- Payment information.
Claiming personal relationships with staff to influence outcomes is forbidden.
Publishing private communication with staff or other players without consent is prohibited.
4. Account Ownership and Responsibility
Each player may operate one account only per server.
The following are forbidden:
- Multi accounting on the same server.
- Creating or using accounts for the benefit of another account.
- Sharing login credentials.
- Attempting to access another player’s account.
Players are fully responsible for:
- Account security.
- Actions taken by their account.
- Losses resulting from shared access.
Account sitting is not allowed.
5. Automation, Bots and External Tools
All actions in the game must be performed manually using officially supported clients.
The following are prohibited unless explicitly approved:
- Bots, macros, or automation tools.
- Scripts that perform actions without direct user input.
- Tools that reduce required clicks or reaction time.
- Scripts that interact with combat, movement, markets, or premium systems.
- Tools that scrape data or generate abnormal server load.
Circumventing technical limitations, protections, or rules enforcement by any means is forbidden.
6. Exploits, Bugs and Abuse
Players must not exploit bugs, unintended mechanics, or edge cases.
This includes:
- Circumventing hard gates or protection systems.
- Abusing timing, recall, queue, or visibility mechanics.
- Exploiting desyncs or incomplete state updates.
Players are required to report discovered bugs promptly.
Knowingly benefiting from an exploit, even indirectly, may result in sanctions.
7. Fair Play and Competitive Integrity
The game operates on deterministic systems.
There are:
- No random combat outcomes.
- No hidden catch up mechanics.
- No retroactive corrections for strategic failure.
Losses caused by miscalculation, incomplete intelligence, or strategic error are valid outcomes and will not be reversed.
Benefiting from another player’s rule violations may result in action against all involved parties.
8. Anti-Grieving and Protection Systems
Certain systems are enforced as hard rules and may not be bypassed:
- A player’s final colony can’t be colonised.
- Starter or protected colonies can’t be taken.
- New player protection overrides all hostile actions.
- Orbital sterilisation rules are systemic and mandatory.
Attempts to bypass these systems through coordination, proxy accounts, or indirect actions are treated as violations.
9. Naming, Language and Content Restrictions.
Player names, faction names and colony names must not:
- Impersonate administrators or real individuals.
- Use protected trademarks or brands.
- Contain prohibited or offensive language.
Advertising external services, websites, or projects through the game is forbidden without explicit approval.
Players must not share personal or third party sensitive information.
10. Transactions
The following are prohibited:
- Buying or selling accounts.
- Exchanging in-game currency for external services and vice versa.
- Trading in-game currency at risk without understanding reversibility.
Illegitimately obtained currency may be removed without compensation.
11. Enforcement and Final Notes
Rule violations may result in:
- Warnings
- Temporary or permanent bans.
- Asset removal.
- Account termination.
Enforcement may occur without prior warning depending on severity. These rules do not attempt to cover every possible scenario. Actions that undermine the integrity, fairness, or stability of the game may be punished even if not explicitly listed.
